I recently purchased the K & N FIPK II Intake Kit for my 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis. The fit was perfect, no modifications needed all hardware was included. So all you good people with the non-CVPI vehicle rest asured you will have no problems with fit on either product. This car did have the factory sport package with the true dual exhaust, but the CVPI Flowmasters mufflers fit perfect. I recommend replacing the resonators with straight pipe if you want the deep growl. I left them and the sound is perfect!! I want to thank Performance Interceptor as well for helping me out and working with me on a questionable fit issue. I am pleased to say all went well. These are GREAT people to work with. Great customer service and the best pricing I could find. Cheaper than the factory and shipped right to my doorstep!! Now my "Grampa Car" sounds great and has much better acceleration at both low and top end. The better breathing makes all the difference. Thanks again, I will be back.
